Peru Dharani

Peru Dharani has a diverse and extensive work experience in various companies. Peru currently holds the position of Senior Vice President - Research (Head of Barco Labs) at Barco, where they lead global corporate innovation and is responsible for disruptive innovation and innovation strategy. Additionally, Peru has served as a Technology Director at Barco and a Group Leader - Technology at Eastman. Peru has also held leadership roles at Huawei Technologies Research and Development Belgium NV and worked as an Analog Design Engineer at Intel Corporation. Furthermore, Peru has been recognized as a Fellow & Alumni at Belgium's 40 under 40 program, where they engage with other young leaders in personal and leadership development.

Peru Dharani has completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Photonics from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne). Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Photonics from Ghent University, University of St Andrews, and Vrije Universiteit Brussel. They also hold a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Electronics Engineering from Anna University.
