Scott Simmons

Scott Simmons serves as the Global Director of Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) at Barentz since October 2018, where responsibilities include developing and leading the company's global ESG program with a strong emphasis on customer success and safety. Previous roles include Director of Safety, Compliance & Sustainability, overseeing environmental health and safety (EHS) activities for North American business units, and Director of Regulatory Affairs at the National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD), where leadership roles included Chairman of the Government Advocacy and Policy Committee. Prior to Barentz, Scott Simmons held the position of Manager of Product Compliance Americas at The Lubrizol Corporation, managing regulatory compliance across various sectors. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Villanova University, an M.Sc. in Chemistry from the University of Dayton, and a B.S. in Chemistry from Ohio University.
