Sylvain Pinel has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Sylvain started their career in 2007 as a Chef de Rayon DPH at E. Leclerc, where they were responsible for managing the Dental Perfumery Hygiene department and leading a team of five salespersons. In 2008, they joined Ingredia Nutritional as a Technical Sales Manager for France and Benelux, where they played a role in prospecting new markets, retaining existing clients, and promoting the company's range of products in the nutrition and health sector. Following that, Sylvain served as a Technical Sales Manager at Azelis France, responsible for managing relationships with R&D, purchasing, and marketing departments of various Agro-Food companies in western France. Sylvain also took on the additional responsibility of product management for coating systems. Sylvain then joined Roquette in 2013 as a Business Developer for France and Switzerland, where they worked on prospecting and providing Roquette's expertise to R&D departments of French and Swiss customers, presenting suitable ingredients, and acting as a link between Roquette's application lab and customers' R&D. Continuing their career, they became a Business Manager at Barentz Ingredients B.V. in 2019, leading sales activities in that role. Sylvain later moved on to Vitablend in 2019 as a Business Development Manager for Protection EMEA. Currently, Sylvain works as the European Principal Manager at Barentz, responsible for coordinating sales actions within the Barentz network and interfacing with the Roquette channel management team.
Sylvain Pinel attended Lycée Carnot Dijon from 2001 to 2003. Here, they completed Classe préparatoire BCPST. Later, from 2003 to 2006, they pursued a degree in agroalimentaire at Ecole nationale d'Ingénieurs des Techniques des Industries agricoles et alimentaires.
