Uwe Schede

Uwe Schede has extensive work experience in logistics and transportation. Uwe most recently served as the Logistics Director Europe at Barentz starting in March 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Panasonic as the Team Leader European Transportation from February 2019 to March 2023. Uwe also gained experience as a Project Manager Transport Implementation at CEVA Logistics and as the Head of Traffic Department at Rhenus Chemical Logistics. In addition, Uwe held various roles at TRANSA Spedition GmbH, Glatfelter, Wincanton, and 42RT-BT13, where they gathered expertise in areas such as customer service, quality management, warehousing, and sales.

Uwe Schede attended FH Hamburg from 2007 to 2011, where they pursued a degree in Europäische Betriebswirtschaft. Their studies encompassed various fields, including Volkswirtschaft, Rechnungswesen, Internationales Recht, and Marketing. In 2009, they obtained a DGQ Six Sigma Green Belt certification from the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Qualität, specializing in Total Quality Management. Prior to that, from 1997 to 2000, Uwe Schede attended Berufsschule Kehl am Rhein, where they obtained a Speditionskaufmann degree in Logistics, Rechnungswesen, and Recht. Uwe also holds additional certifications, such as "Ihre Ideen strategisch vorantreiben" and "Projektmanagement: Werkzeuge, Software, Hilfsmittel," which were obtained from LinkedIn in 2023.
