Rod Young possesses extensive experience in the construction and civil engineering sectors, having held various managerial and engineering roles since the early 1980s. Currently serving as Eastern Regional Manager at Barhale Ltd since June 1994, Rod has previously worked as a Senior Construction/Contracts Manager, Project Manager, and Site Manager within the same company. Prior to Barhale, notable positions include Site Manager at Delta Civil Engineering and LASERBORE LTD, Section Engineer at BAM Nuttall Ltd, and Mine Overseer at Anglo American South Africa. Rod Young earned a BSc Hons in Mining Engineering from Newcastle University between 1979 and 1982, and completed secondary education at Poynton County High School in Cheshire from 1972 to 1979.
