Antonio Copercini

Antonio Copercini has extensive experience in supply chain management, currently serving as Chief Group Supply Chain Officer at Barilla Group since September 1989. In this role, Antonio is responsible for overseeing the group’s purchasing, production, logistics, planning, and group engineering processes, as well as defining industrial policies and investment strategies. Previous roles include Director of Integrated Supply Chain at Barilla Group, where responsibilities encompassed purchasing, production, logistics, technical packaging, and integrated planning. As Director of Bakery Operations, Antonio managed all bakery production processes, achieving significant improvements in production efficiency. Leadership in the global supply chain reorganization facilitated the establishment of new facilities in the U.S., Greece, Turkey, and Italy, alongside talent development initiatives. Earlier experience at Barilla G&R involved developing a common organizational model and implementing production control systems across the group. Antonio holds a Master's degree in Industrial Management and Mechanical Engineering-MBA from Milan Politecnico.
