Claudia B. is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the food industry, currently serving as the Head of Global Open Innovation & IPR at Barilla Group since July 2006. In this role, Claudia focuses on strengthening the global open innovation network, enhancing IPR capabilities, and fostering collaborations with the startup community through the GOOD FOOD MAKERS program. Previous positions at Barilla include leading Emerging Markets strategic partnerships and new categories, overseeing Global Innovation Platforms, and managing Quality and Food Safety processes. Claudia has also contributed to design thinking and consumer-driven design initiatives, and has experience in product development and raw materials purchasing. Claudia holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Food Science and Technology from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna and has furthered expertise with a Foresight Practitioner certification from the Institute for the Future.
