Markus Borchert

Markus Borchert is a governance and strategic oversight expert with over 30 years of international experience in the tech industry. Having served as a non-executive director on various boards, Markus has a strong background in both executive leadership and industry associations, notably as President of DIGITALEUROPE and currently on the Executive Committee of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China. With twelve years spent in China, Markus has developed a profound understanding of the region's economic landscape, which complements their roles in shaping tech policies. Markus holds a master's degree in electrical engineering and information technology from the Technical University of Munich, an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, and is pursuing a Board Director Diploma at IMD.
