Michele Zerbini has extensive experience in the food industry, particularly in purchasing and supply chain management at Barilla Group since May 2009. Starting as a Purchasing Professional focused on Durum Wheat in Northern and Central Italy, Michele progressed to various leadership roles, including Raw Materials Purchasing Manager, where responsibilities included overseeing the procurement of essential ingredients such as cocoa, chocolate, and dairy products. Currently serving as the Soft Wheat & Flours Italy & Galliate Mill Purchasing Associate Director, Michele plays a crucial role in sourcing and implementing sustainable practices. Prior experience includes field research at GROUPE LIMAGRAIN and a strong educational background with degrees in Agro-food Economics and Food Science from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.
