Silke Whyte

Silke Whyte has extensive legal experience, currently serving as the Legal C&NE Associate Director at Barilla Group since May 2014, where responsibilities include preparing, negotiating, and revising contracts across various departments and providing consultancy on intellectual property rights in competition law. Prior to this role, Silke worked as Legal Counsel IP at Lenzing AG from January 2013 to May 2014, focusing on the protection and enforcement of trademarks and intellectual property rights globally. Silke's previous experience also includes positions at Universal Music Publishing as Manager and Junior Manager in Legal & Business Affairs, where contract drafting and copyright enforcement were primary duties. Silke began legal training at Kammergericht Berlin from February 2007 to February 2009, and holds advanced degrees in law from The University of Auckland, Kiel University, and the University of Bayreuth.
