Andrew Markey

Andrew Markey currently serves as a Director at Barings, having joined the company in April 2019, where prior roles included Associate Director and Analyst in the Private Credit division. Before Barings, Andrew gained experience at Apogem Capital from August 2016 to March 2019, holding positions from Associate to Analyst. Earlier experience includes consulting at Illinois Business Consulting, focusing on high-quality client recommendations, and a Business Development Internship at the World Trade Centers Association, aimed at fostering trade growth in the Chicago region. Andrew also completed a fellowship with Youth & Opportunity United, facilitating an entrepreneurial immersion program for high school students.
