Christopher Harley serves as the Director of Compliance at Barings, a position held since June 2022. Prior to this role, Christopher was with Wells Fargo from January 2019 to June 2022, where responsibilities included serving as a Senior Compliance Associate and Compliance Associate. Earlier in his career, Christopher worked as an Analyst in Compliance Consulting at Duff & Phelps from August 2017 to December 2018 and as a Compliance Analyst at Berwin Leighton Paisner from March 2016 to August 2017. Christopher holds a Level 6 Diploma in Investment Compliance from The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI) and completed a Bar Professional Training Course at BPP Law School from 2014 to 2016. The academic journey also includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Edge Hill University from 2011 to 2014, along with earlier education at Barrow Sixth Form College and Parkview Community College of Technology.
