John Lloyd

John Lloyd is an experienced executive in the real estate and investment sectors, currently serving as Executive Managing Director at NewPoint Real Estate Capital since June 2021 and at Barings since February 2016. At Barings, John Lloyd contributes to identifying attractive risk-adjusted return opportunities across various alternative assets. Previously, John held the position of Managing Director at C-III Asset Management LLC from November 2002 to April 2015, overseeing a significant portfolio of commercial real estate loans totaling over $223 billion. John's earlier experience includes serving as Associate Director at ORIX from 1993 to 2002, where John managed an $8 billion portfolio of securitized loans. John Lloyd holds an MBA from the SMU Cox School of Business and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and Real Estate from Baylor University.
