Mac Hunter

Mac Hunter, CFA, currently serves as Managing Director at Barings since October 2022, previously holding the position of Senior Director. Prior experience includes serving as Regional Director and Vice President at Dimensional Fund Advisors from September 2019 to October 2022 and Vice President at Goldman Sachs from October 2015 to September 2019, where responsibilities encompassed GSAM Americas Client Businesses and Insurance Asset Management. Earlier roles at Goldman Sachs involved platform development and third-party distribution within the Investment Management Division. Mac initiated a career at BlackRock from May 2012 to October 2015, progressing from Sales Associate to Investment Management Associate. A stint as a Research Associate at Coleman Research involved conducting primary research for institutional clients. Mac's foundational experience also includes coaching and managing pitching staff at Rockbridge Rapids. Mac holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Davidson College, awarded in 2011.
