Mike Gerold

Mike Gerold, a CA-qualified professional, currently serves as a Private Credit Fund Accountant at Barings since October 2023. Prior to this role, Mike worked as a Hedge Fund ODD Analyst at HSBC from July to September 2023, focusing on operational due diligence within global asset management. From September 2019 to June 2023, Mike was a Senior Associate in Wealth Asset Management Assurance at EY, specializing in audits for asset managers and private equity firms. Mike co-founded and served as Treasurer of the UCL American Society, managing finances and event planning from September 2016 to March 2018. Additional experience includes serving as a Camp Counselor at Ozarks Regional YMCA, a Night Manager at Premier Inn, and volunteering with International Service UK, where Mike led educational initiatives. Mike holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from UCL and completed studies at ICAS between September 2019 and December 2022.
