Peyton Smith is a dedicated accounting professional with a diverse background in finance and investment. Starting as a Student Athlete at the NCAA from July 2016 to October 2019, Peyton transitioned to an Accounting Intern at TIAA in June 2019. Following this, an investment accounting role at Nuveen was held from July 2020 until November 2024, advancing to the position of Investment Accountant II. Currently, Peyton serves as Assistant Controller at Barings, beginning in November 2024. Peyton is also pursuing a Master of Accounting degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with an expected completion date in 2024.
