Robert Li

Robert Li has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Robert currently holds the position of Senior Director, Client Portfolio Manager - Equities at Barings, where they have been working since 2021. Prior to that, they were a Director, Client Portfolio Manager - Equities at the same company from 2021 to 2022. Before joining Barings, they worked as a Director, Senior Investment Strategist at Harvest Global Investments Limited from 2020 to 2021. Robert also had a role as a Director, Senior Investment Manager at Harvest Fund Management from 2019 to 2020. Earlier in their career, they held positions at China Asset Management Co., Ltd., where they worked as a Senior Vice President, Investment Strategist from 2018 to 2019 and as a Vice President, International Business Development from 2016 to 2017. Robert also gained experience as an Investment Analyst, Alternatives at Dundee Global Investment Management from 2015 to 2016. Before that, they worked as an Assistant to the CEO at Forbes & Manhattan (Asia) Ltd. from 2009 to 2012.

Robert Li obtained their Honours Bachelor's Degree in Integrative Biology from the University of Toronto, where they studied from 2004 to 2009. Following that, they completed their Masters of Business Administration with a focus on Finance at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management from 2013 to 2015. In 2014, Robert also acquired the Canadian Securities Course certification from the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI).
