Robert Staron

Robert Staron is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in investment accounting and auditing. Currently serving as Director and Fund Controller at Barings since September 2016, Robert has also held positions as Assistant Controller within the same organization. Prior to Barings, Robert contributed to Hartford Investment Management Co. as a Senior Investment Accountant and worked as an Audit Senior at both CohnReznick LLP and Deloitte. Robert began the career at The Hartford as an Advanced Staff Auditor. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Central Connecticut State University, earned between 2003 and 2008.
