Tom Murphy

Tom Murphy, CFA, has extensive experience in finance, specializing in restructuring and corporate credit. Since November 2018, Tom has served as a Director at Barings. Prior to this, Tom held the position of Senior Associate at Medley Management Inc., executing restructuring transactions in Direct Lending and Corporate Credit. Tom's experience includes a Director role at Ankura focusing on turnaround and restructuring, as well as working at Barclays Investment Bank where responsibilities included managing distressed corporate loan portfolios. Tom's career also includes roles as a Stock Broker Intern at Scottrade and summer analyst positions at Barclays and UBS. Tom earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Economics from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
