Brian Grochal

Brian Grochal is an experienced professional in product safety, quality, and compliance, currently serving as the Director of Safety and Quality at BARK since May 2022. Additionally, Brian is a board member of the International Consumer Product Health and Safety Organization (ICPHSO) since February 2019, contributing to global discussions on consumer product safety practices. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Quality and Compliance at DockATot, where Brian established a comprehensive safety program, and as Innovation & Technical Services Manager at UL, overseeing children's product compliance and technical inquiries. Earlier positions include Compliance Manager at Maclaren, where regulatory testing was managed efficiently, and Product Compliance Engineer at 4moms, ensuring products met safety standards across multiple categories. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia and has pursued further education at institutions such as the John Cook School of Business and MIT.
