Marcel Böttcher is the Head of Digital Health & Prevention at BARMER, responsible for leading a team of one hundred across various functions in digital healthcare strategy. They previously served as the Head of the Pharmaceutical Industry Department at Miller & Meier Consulting, advising global companies on drug regulation and digital health policy. With substantial experience in strategic consulting and political analysis, Marcel also worked at the GKV-Spitzenverband focused on the digital transformation of the healthcare system. Additionally, Marcel has academic experience as a research assistant in Political Science at Universität Passau and holds degrees from both Universität Passau and Philipps-Universität Marburg.
