Mark Matlock

Mark Matlock currently serves as the Executive Director of Urbana at InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA and has been the Principal Owner of WisdomWorks LLC since 1996, focusing on transformative learning through wisdom acquisition. Matlock has held the position of Insight Lead at Barna Group since 2016, where responsibilities include providing analytical support and facilitating the implementation of research findings. From March 2022 to January 2024, Matlock acted as the Interim Chief Executive Officer for Movement.org, delivering executive leadership to global ministries. Previous roles include Advisor for Youth Specialties, where oversight of the National Youth Workers Convention was provided, and various important positions at Zondervan Publishers, including Executive Director and Vice President of Event Content. Matlock’s early career included serving as an Unusual Truth Expositor at Shepherd Ministries, and educational background includes a degree from Biola University.
