Ian Reason MBE

Ian Reason MBE is currently the Senior Vice President and President of Barnes Aerospace, a position they began on May 2, 2022. Previously, they served as Operating Company President of Triumph Mechanical Solutions, Interiors & Structures, where they managed P&L responsibilities for approximately $580 million across 15 sites globally. Ian has extensive experience in leadership roles, including Vice President for Military Business Development at Triumph Group and various positions at BAE Systems over 12 years. A proud veteran of the Royal Navy, Ian spent 24 years as a commissioned officer, culminating in a role focused on the F-35 program's sustainment in Washington, D.C. They hold multiple degrees, including a bachelor’s in aeronautical engineering and master’s degrees in guided weapons and defense studies.
