Peter Rigby

Peter Rigby has an extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Peter is currently serving as the Chief Commercial Officer at Barrett Technology since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Bioness Inc. for over 15 years, starting in 2006. During their tenure, they held multiple roles including Area Vice-President of Business Development - West, Area Director of Business Development - West, Business Development Manager for the West and South Central regions, and Business Development Representative. Peter'sresponsibilities involved managing sales forces, negotiating strategic relationships, and supporting Bioness partner rehabilitation facilities.

Before joining Bioness Inc., Peter worked at Johnson & Johnson - Ortho McNeil, where they served as a Sales Representative and Product Consultant. As a Sales Representative, they marketed pharmaceutical products to specialty physicians, consistently meeting or exceeding production targets. As a Product Consultant, they sold mobility devices and provided technical information to consumers and medical professionals.

Peter's professional journey started at Intermountain Healthcare in 1999 as a Staff Occupational Therapist at Primary Children's Hospital. In this role, they provided therapy services for students with severe disabilities, developed therapeutic programs, and oversaw the use of adaptive equipment.

Peter Rigby pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Behavioral Sciences and Health at the University of Utah from 1991 to 1996. Later, from 1996 to 1998, they attended the University of Illinois Chicago where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy.
