Aldo Leon

Aldo Leon is a seasoned professional in environmental management, currently serving as the Environmental Permitting Manager at Barrick Gold Corporation since July 2016. Prior to this role, Aldo held various positions within Barrick Gold Corporation, including Environmental Impact Assessment Manager and Environmental Permitting Superintendent from June 2011 to July 2015. Aldo's career also includes experience as Environmental Manager at Gold Fields Ltd. from January 2010 to May 2011, Environmental Consultant at Golder Associates from September 2006 to January 2010, and Environmental Engineer at Ministerio de Energía y Minas from August 2001 to August 2006. Aldo holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Mining from The University of British Columbia and an Engineer’s Degree in Environmental Engineering from Universidad Nacional del Callao.
