Alejandro V. has over 14 years of extensive experience in water management and treatment processes, currently serving as the Water Management Lead at Barrick since February 2009. In this role, Alejandro leads a team of 47 personnel overseeing fresh water distribution, effluent treatment, and compliance with national and international regulations. Previous positions at Barrick include General Supervisor for water management, where responsibilities included supervising sewage treatment and potable water plants, incinerator operations, and general services. Prior to Barrick, Alejandro worked as a Lab Technician at Molinos Modernos, conducting chemical and physicochemical analyses. Alejandro holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo and a Master's in Management and Productivity from Universidad APEC, along with multiple diplomas in water quality management and training.
