Allison Brown

Allison Brown, P.Geo., currently serves as the Group Director of Reclamation and Closure at Barrick Gold Corporation, where responsibilities include embedding an integrated mine closure strategy across global operations. Previously, Allison held the position of Senior Closure Manager at Barrick, overseeing mine reclamation activities in various Canadian provinces and acting as Mine Manager for closed mines in British Columbia. In addition to current work as the owner of Techneco Consulting, prior experience includes serving as a Senior Environmental Scientist at Klohn Crippen Berger, managing projects for mining and hydroelectric clients. Allison's career at Barrick Gold commenced in 2000, progressing through several environmental roles, including Environmental Systems and Development Manager and Environmental Officer. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Environmental Science from the University of Guelph and a Master’s degree in Environmental Practice from Royal Roads University.
