Calvin Li

Calvin Li is an exploration geologist with 20 years of experience in world-class mineral districts across South America, the Caribbean, Central Asia, and Australia. They specialize in grassroots exploration, project evaluation, and near-mine expansion, demonstrating proficiency in various deposit styles and commodities. Currently, Calvin holds the position of Senior Exploration Geologist at Barrick Mining Corporation, where they apply their extensive knowledge in factual fit-for-purpose field mapping and multi-dataset interpretation. Previously, Calvin contributed to significant exploration projects at Newmont Corporation and Minera Yanacocha, resulting in successful acquisitions. They earned a Master's degree in Mineral Science from James Cook University and a Bachelor's degree in Geology and Geophysics from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.
