Dave King has extensive experience in the mining industry, currently serving as Project Manager for the Cortez Expansion at Barrick Gold Corporation since February 2006. Previously held the position of General Supervisor for Special Projects and Continuous Improvement at the same company. In 2010, Dave King worked as a Project Manager for Barrick Strategic Planning. Earlier in the career, Dave King was employed as a Mining Engineer at BHP Billiton from 1997 to 1999. After a notable career, Dave King retired in February 2022. Educationally, Dave King holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mine Engineering from the University of Alaska, earned between 1978 and 1982.
