Josiah Gerber

Josiah Gerber currently serves as a Senior Hydrogeologist at Barrick since March 2025, following a tenure as Senior Hydrologist at SSR Mining Inc. from November 2021 to March 2025. Prior roles include Senior Project Engineer - Water at Barrick Gold Corporation and Project Engineer at Linkan Engineering. Josiah has a diverse background in water-related infrastructure projects, having worked on significant projects such as the Rye Patch Dam penstock replacement and the Truckee River Pipe Outfall Project during time at Dyer Engineering Consultants. Starting at SRK Consulting as a Staff Consultant, experience encompasses both engineering and permitting. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno, and an Associate of Applied Science degree with CAD/GIS emphasis from Great Basin College.
