Kumar Persaud

Kumar Persaud is a Senior Project Geologist at Barrick Mining Corporation, bringing over 9 years of international experience in exploration geology across regions including the Guiana Shield, Latin America, and Africa. With a specialization in orogenic gold, porphyry Cu-Au, and epithermal deposit systems, Kumar has a proven track record in project generation, geological modeling, and advancing exploration programs. Kumar previously held roles as an Exploration Geologist at G2 Goldfields Inc. and a Junior Geologist at Guyana Goldfields Inc. Kumar earned a Bachelor's degree in Applied and Exploration Geology with Distinction and a Diploma in Geological Engineering from the University of Guyana.
