Previously, Marcel held leadership roles in expansion and sustainability project management at Barrick, overseeing complex projects like the Pueblo Viejo Expansion Project and ensuring compliance with sustainability standards. With extensive experience in environmental consulting, Marcel served as Director at 545 Environmental and led teams at Digby Wells Environmental, managing prominent projects such as the Total EACOP Resettlement Action Plan in Tanzania. Marcel's educational background includes an MSc in Finance from Geneva Business School, a Master of Finance and Investment from the London School of Business and Finance, and a BSc(Hons) in Environmental Management from the University of South Africa.
