Roberto Scapinello

Roberto Scapinello has extensive experience in maintenance planning, currently serving as a Maintenance Planner at Barrick Gold Corporation since February 1988. In this role, Roberto oversees the Williams Mine underground maintenance management system, ensuring the implementation and control of maintenance activities for mobile groups, which includes planning work, ensuring preventative maintenance compliance, meeting legal obligations, managing equipment availability, scheduling, and analyzing life cycle and tire costs. Prior to this position, Roberto worked as an H.D. Mechanic at Noranda Geco Mine from February 1983 to February 1988. Roberto holds a degree in Heavy Equipment Construction Techniques from Sheridan College, completed in 1982.
