Winnie Deusdedith

Winnie Deusdedith is an experienced professional in environmental health and industrial hygiene, holding a BSc in Environmental Health Sciences from Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences. As a Research Assistant at AMREF, Winnie developed strong relationships with research participants and gained valuable insights through project meetings. In the role of Industrial Hygienist at AngloGold Ashanti Tanzania, responsibilities included preparing dust filters and conducting field environmental monitoring. Currently, at Barrick Gold Corporation, Winnie is involved in generating Similar Exposure Groups, conducting comprehensive audits, and performing onsite analyses to ensure workplace safety and compliance with health standards. Previously, as an Environmental Health Officer with the Ministry of Health, efforts focused on improving public safety through environmental inspections and monitoring sanitation in food establishments.
