Robert McAfoos

As Vice President of Engineering and Technical Services, Robbie provides executive leadership to the Program and Project Management teams responsible for delivery of products and services to aerospace prime contractors. He is also the executive sponsor of Barrios’ systems engineering services provided to industries outside of the aerospace market. Robbie has over 20 years of executive leadership experience and has served in positions spanning Technology Development, Business Development, Contracts Management and multiple roles as a Program Manager for NASA prime contracts. Robbie also served 4 years as President of Barrios performing a key role in company succession planning.

Robbie holds a Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering, from University of Tennessee and a Master of Science, Electrical Engineering, from the University of Minnesota. He holds Project Management Professional and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certifications.

He has previously served as the Chair of the Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership (BAHEP), is a member of the Board of Directors for Community in Schools Bay Area, and is active in the Gulf Coast INCOSE chapter. He also serves as a member of the emerging technology forum for the American Petroleum Institute (API). Robbie is a proud father and grandfather. He enjoys time on the water, jogging and being active.
