Evie Liu is a reporter at Barron's, where they cover the stock market, public companies, investing, economy, and personal finance. Evie previously worked as a data reporter for Dow Jones, where they pitched and wrote data-driven analysis and in-depth features. Evie also designed and produced data visualizations to accompany stories, both static and interactive. Prior to their work at Dow Jones, Evie was a data journalist at the New York Daily News, where they participated in award-winning investigations through data analysis and visualization. Evie also pitched and produced original data-driven stories and visual projects. Evie has also worked as a web news clerk at KPCC - Southern California Public Radio, an online editorial assistant at CNN, and a multimedia journalist at Neon Tommy.
Evie Liu has a Master of Arts in Journalism from the University of Southern California, and two Bachelor of Arts degrees in German Language and Literature and International Economics and Trade from the Beijing Foreign Studies University.
