Jacob Adelman is a reporter at Barron's. Jacob was previously a reporter at The Philadelphia Inquirer, where they covered real estate, commercial development and other financial topics, with a focus on data and accountability. Jacob was also a reporter at Bloomberg, where they broke news and wrote enterprise on the Fukushima nuclear crisis’s repercussions in Japan and internationally, among other topics surrounding Japanese utilities, refiners and energy explorers. Jacob also covered Tokyo’s preparations for the 2020 Olympics and moves in the country to legalize casino gambling. Jacob has also been a reporting intern at Time Magazine and Dow Jones Newswires, and was co-editor at Project Syndicate.
Jacob Adelman has a MA/MJ in Asian Studies/Journalism from the University of California, Berkeley and a BA in Journalism from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Jacob also has certification from the Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas in Investigative Reporting in Platforms.
