Ashley Adami is currently the Design Director at Barrows Global, where they focus on the future of retail and sustainable design practices. Previously, Ashley co-founded THUNK DESIGN STUDIOS, where they co-created the Gaami Cup, and served as a Senior Furniture Buyer at Superbalist.com, achieving significant sales increases and cost reductions. Their experience also includes roles as Lead Designer and Senior Designer at Coricraft, contributing to product innovation and profitability. Ashley holds a Bachelor of Technology in Industrial and Product Design from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, where they completed various design projects, including sustainable product development.
