James Mai

James Mai is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in management and public relations within the fitness and entertainment industries. Currently serving as Senior General Manager and Senior Instructor at Barry's since January 2016, James leads the Houston location while supporting additional studios across Texas, focusing on operational success and client satisfaction. Prior to this role, James worked as a Regional Publicity Manager at Webster PR, managing tour press for notable artists, and held various positions in event booking and production at Baylor University, Uproar Records, and Theatre Under The Stars. James holds dual Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in Music and Entertainment Marketing, and Marketing and Management from Baylor University.
