Jason Istrin

Jason Istrin has over 13 years of experience in the real estate industry. Jason began their career in 2008 as a Commercial Associate at Solomon Capital Advisors. Jason then moved to Rockpoint Investment Group in 2009, where they held the role of Commercial Associate. In 2012, they joined Phillip Roman & Co as a Mergers & Acquisitions Consultant. In 2013, they began working at Adaptive Realty as an Acquisitions Consultant. In 2014, they became the Head of Acquisitions at Onyx Development. In 2017, they were appointed as the Head Of Real Estate, Los Angeles for Sonder Inc., where they drove supply growth by working with key stakeholders across the commercial real estate industry. In 2019, they were promoted to Director Of Real Estate at AvantStay. In 2022, they became the VP of Real Estate at Barsala, where they were responsible for changing the way people travel by offering consistent, well-designed spaces.

Jason Istrin obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern California in 2008, majoring in Public Policy, Management & Planning. Jason also obtained a WSET Level 2 Award in Wine and Spirits from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust in January 2019, a California Real Estate Salesperson License from the California Department of Real Estate in April 2009, and a Property Management License from the Oregon Real Estate Agency in January 2021.
