Jan Froehlich

Jan Froehlich has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Jan'smost recent position was as the Director of Strategic Sourcing at BARTEC Safe.t Technology, starting in July 2017. Prior to that, they worked as a Purchasing Manager at Solvay Acetow from May 2015. From 2013 to 2015, they were a Procurement Manager at Pfizer, where they were responsible for purchasing direct and indirect spend for multiple plants and logistics hubs, managing a team of five buyers, developing purchasing strategies, and achieving quality, cost, and delivery targets. Before that, they served as the Global Capital & Tooling Purchasing Manager at Inergy Automotive Systems from 2006 to 2013, overseeing purchasing responsibilities for all investments and managing a global team of nine buyers. Jan Froehlich also held positions at Delphi as a Global Commodity Manager Machining from 2004 to 2006 and as the Divisional Investment Buyer for France & Spain at Delphi Diesel Systems from 1998 to 2003. Jan started their career at Lucas Varity Diesel Systems as an Indirect Materials and Services Buyer from 1996 to 1997 and as a Graduate Management Trainee in Logistics and Supply Chain from 1995 to 1996.

Jan Froehlich completed their education with a BSc in Management Science from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School from 1992 to 1995. Prior to that, they studied Micro and Macro Economics, Statistics, Spanish, and Communication at Cleveland State University from 1989 to 1991. Jan Froehlich obtained their Abitur from Gymnasium Willhöden in Hamburg, Germany, between 1980 and 1989.
