Nicolai Dortmann has a diverse and extensive work experience in supply chain management and logistics. Nicolai has held various leadership positions in renowned companies such as BARTEC Safe.t Technology, RASTAL GmbH & Co. KG, BIRKENSTOCK GmbH & Co. KG, Rittal GmbH & Co. KG, SIG Combibloc, Ball Packaging Europe, Corus, and Schmalbach Lubeca. Their roles have included Director Global Supply Chain Management, Managing Director, Director Global Strategic Sourcing, Vice President Supply Chain & IT, Director Logistics, Vice President Global Logistics, Director Business Process Management Global Supply Chain, Head of Global Supply Chain Management, Director Supply Chain Europe/Supply Demand & Logistics, Manager Supply Chain - Supply Demand Europe, and Manager Controlling & IT in Purchasing. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in strategic and operative orientation of customer service, planning, and logistics, managing turnovers exceeding €1 billion.

Nicolai Dortmann holds a Diplom Wirtschaftsingenieur degree in Mechanical Engineering and Economics from Universität Siegen, which they obtained from 1990 to 1996. Nicolai also has a BA degree in Logistics & Purchasing from Växjö University in 1993-1994. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt ISO13053 from TQM and TQM-Assesor DGQ in Total Quality Management from Deutsche Gesellschaft für Qualität. In 1994, they served as an Honorary Research Assistant at The University of Auckland in the field of Materials Engineering. In 2005, they participated in the Advanced Management Program Leadership at the University of Nevada, Reno, and in 2001, they attended a Managerial Effectiveness program at Management Zentrum St. Gallen.
