Robert Hafer

Robert Hafer is an experienced Senior Relay Technician and Instructor at Bartech Group, with a focus on basic and advanced relay protection for Meter & Relay Technicians. With 17 years of expertise in electro-mechanical and digital protection relays, Robert has a strong background in relay maintenance, testing, and commissioning, complemented by 16 years of field experience as a Nuclear Plant Maintenance Electrician. Additionally, Robert has served as a Substation Meter/Relay Technician at Portland General Electric since 1997 and spent time in the US Navy Reserve from 1996 to 2006. Robert's career began as a Plant Maintenance Electrician at the PGE Trojan Nuclear Plant from 1981 to 1997. Robert holds an Electronics Technician Certification from Multnomah Junior College.
