Thomas Byrne Jr.

Thomas Byrne Jr. has over 10 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, and auditing. Thomas began their career in 2007 as an Intern at Chicago Partners, an economic and financial consulting practice. In 2008, they interned at Navigant Consulting, where they conducted research and assisted experts in financial and accounting analyses. In 2009, they returned to Chicago Partners as an Intern before joining Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP in 2010 as an Auditor. At Baker Tilly, they managed up to two staff members during audit engagements and provided mentoring and continuous feedback. In 2010, they also worked as a Data Quality & Diners Club Consultant at Harris Bank. From 2012 to 2019, Thomas worked at The Heico Companies LLC in various roles, including Manager - Financial Reporting and Analysis, Senior Internal Auditor, and Internal Auditor. In 2019, they joined Bartesian as the VP of Finance.

Thomas Byrne Jr. attended Illinois State University from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a degree in Accounting, Finance, and International Business. In 2008, they participated in a Business Study Abroad Program at ICN Business School in Metz, France. From 2017 to 2019, they attended The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA). In 2018, they also attended Guanghua School of Management at Peking University for the DBIC program. Additionally, Thomas Byrne Jr. holds certifications as a Certified Internal Auditor from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. and a Certified Public Accountant from the Illinois Board of Examiners.
