Ian Mitchell

Ian Mitchell, born into a catering family, began their career after earning a National Diploma in Catering and Hotel Keeping from Oxford Brookes University. They worked in various prestigious establishments, including a Management Trainee role at the Savoy Hotel Company and as Assistant Manager at The Crillon Hotel in Paris. With experience at notable venues such as the Capital Hotel and Cafe Royal, Ian transitioned into contract catering as General Manager for Sutcliffe Catering at British Airways, where they met Wendy Bartlett. In 1995, Ian became Managing Director at Compass Group and subsequently founded Bartlett Mitchell in 2000, where they currently serve as Chairman, emphasizing personal touch and client communication.
