Michael Ward

Michael Ward is an experienced commercial litigator currently serving as a Partner at Barton LLP since September 2016, previously holding the role of Associate. Prior to this position, Michael worked as an Associate at Wollmuth Maher & Deutsch LLP from September 2011 to September 2016, representing a range of clients from Fortune 100 financial institutions to closely-held companies in complex commercial disputes across federal and state courts, as well as in arbitration. Additional legal experience includes roles such as Corporate/Securities Intern at Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman, LLP, Management Council Law Clerk at the National Football League, Summer Associate at Guercio & Guercio LLP, and Judicial Intern at the Supreme Court of the State of New York. Michael Ward earned a Juris Doctor from St. John's University School of Law and previously studied at the University of Denver - Sturm College of Law, as well as obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Economics from Duke University.
