David Shanton

David Shanton is an accomplished professional in fundraising and college advancement with over 18 years of experience at Baruch College, where roles have included Vice President and Assistant Vice President of College Advancement, leading major fundraising initiatives and managing a substantial portfolio of alumni and friends. Prior to Baruch, David served as Executive Director of Development and held key positions at St. John's University, where significant contributions included establishing the first prospect research program and achieving a dramatic increase in leadership giving. David also contributed to the New York State Assembly in legislative roles and served as a Board Member for APRA. Educational qualifications include a BA and MA in Political Science from Utica University and Rutgers University, respectively, along with a MLS from St. John's University.
