James Mccarthy

James McCarthy is the Interim Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs at Baruch College. James has also served as Senior Vice President at USI Insurance Services from December 2017 to August 2019, and as Senior Vice President - Marketing at Wells Fargo Insurance Services of New York, Inc. from July 2003 to December 2017. Prior to that, they were Director of Insurance Marketing at Hagedorn & Company from March 1996 to July 2003, and Vice President - Marketing Manager at Frenkel & Company from January 1990 to March 1996. James began their career in the insurance industry as an Account Executive in the Commercial Lines Department at Johnson & Higgins from May 1983 to April 1986, and then served as an Account Executive in the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association Department at Frank B. Hall & Company from December 1979 to May 1983.
