Basalt Engineering, LLC is a U.S.-based manufacturer and technology leader specializing in Basalt Fiber Reinforced Polymer (BFRP) rebar and basalt-based reinforcement solutions for concrete construction.

We focus on manufacturing corrosion-resistant, lightweight, and sustainable alternatives to steel, designed to extend service life and reduce total cost of ownership in demanding environments. Our product line under the name of BasTech® are engineered to meet the needs of infrastructure, marine, residential, commercial, and industrial construction, including applications exposed to saltwater, chemicals, and harsh climates.

Basalt Engineering’s basalt rebar is manufactured using a pultrusion process and is designed to comply with applicable ASTM standards, approved by Florida DOT, and focused on building Data Center project-specific requirements. Compared to steel, our basalt-based reinforcements offer:
