Basalte is a travel agency specialized in creating treks with a strong human impact.

We design human-scale walking experiences, imagined from the field and co-created with local guides, co-creators, and partner organizations.

Our approach: offering committed journeys, deeply rooted in their territories, where human connection and lived experience come before performance.

How we work:
> Co-creation with passionate individuals who share their discipline.
> Small-group treks.
> Strong ties with local associations and community roots in every project.
> Routes designed with rigor, respect, and humility.
> Unembellished experiences: effort, reality, immersion.
Here, we take the time to truly meet the places — not just pass through them.

Basalte is operating its first treks, notably in Nepal.
Other destinations will open soon.

Basalte is for those who feel the call to walk differently, and for all individuals or organizations wishing to co-create fairer, more human travel experiences.
